I hear the ones from R.A. suck. I really dont want to risk it by putting them in then heving them blow real quick. Would you keep the stock ones? does anyone have any expierence with the RA springs? just tring to figure **** out real quick right befor i build my motor. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif

The stock seals will be fine for up to 30psi so long as the maps are good. I don't see why you would want to risk your engine using parts that you are unsure of. Stick with the stock parts and you will be happy that you did. If you start building engines left and right then I would say you might branch out and try new things. Until then I would leave all the aftermarket engine parts to the guys who don't mind breaking a few eggs.

I have heard many good things about the RA seals but no experience myself. I've read about people that blew their engines and the apex seals were still just fine.

The seals are bulletproof. Ive seen them take a rediculous amount of abuse in my friends FC. But from RA still recommends stock springs in high hp applications because their springs dont deal with heat as well as the stock ones.

Are you talking about 3mm or standard?

if you're worried about it, just use the stockers, you know they will work.

Use stock springs and RA seals.

didnt you colapse your apex seal seats on your rotors and the seals stayed intact and reusable?

I built my engine before I ever saw anything about not using the springs...I don't know what they call high boost, but I'm running 16psi on a single and have been for 7500 miles...no problems here.
