My current fuel setup consists of a pair of top-feed fuel rails, fed in serial with a stock Mazda FPR, soft-rubber fuel lines, and no pulsation dampener. I'm using 660cc primary and 1680cc secondary injectors with Haltech E6X running "Staged" injection.
I've been doing some research and ran across this diagram which looks great to me. So I priced out an aftermarket FPR, a pair of KGParts rails, and all the bits and pieces of lines/adapters necessary to build it. Then, I find this thread about pulsation problems using parallel rails with "batch" injection. I'm worried that the same problem might exist in my planned set-up with "Staged" injection. How many of you guys are running a similar configuration? Is anyone using an aftermarket pulsation dampener(s)? |
the aftermarket FPR will act as a pulsation dampener.

the pulsation thing is dependent on construstion of the system. ive seen it really bad in a honda, its like a jackahmmer
