Do you think I should put the harness on the new engine BEFORE I install it? I can see how it would help... But how do I get it out from under the ABS? I don't wanna go ripping at ****, but I'd like to get it out... If re-install will benefit from it..



Plus with it out, I can re-wrap it too.

just pull it.. i comes out easily...



I'd take it out... inspect all the wires.. rewrap if not wrap w/ a good insulator... fix any broken or frayed wires...



only thing.. it's a freakin pain in the ass to lock the harness onto the firewall!!! it's a huge grommet...

use dishwashing liquid as lube to ease it in..



9base3.. you can maneuver the harness without issue..

you may just need to remove the brake booster hose to the manifold for easier access..

you can also loosen the abs unit, it will give you a little more room
