I am going to be taking these items off my FD this weekend to have some things done to them. Is there any kind of "how to's" for the removel of these. Im sure i could just dive in there and start ripping them apart, but i prefer to make sure things are done right so i like to follow instructions for the first time.
Plus any lil warnings and becarefulls would help too shawn |

I vote for "Leave LIM on unless absolutely necessary!" https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Yeah when I pulled my LIM off it was a PITA.

thanx man...every little bit helps. If the LIM is that much of a pain then ill leave it. I just figured if im port matching the UIM and TB id do the LIM also

iluvmyrx7.com This is not a task that should require a how-to. It just a matter of taking the bolts out and unpluging the connectors and vac hoses. Think of the workshop manual as a big book of How-tos. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

Yes, in order to remove the LIM that Turbos HAVE to come off first.
So if you really wants these things taken off UIM, T/B, LIM. It would likely be in this order. 1. UIM & T/B 2. Downpipe 3. Y-pipe 4. All other associated piping. 5. Turbos 6. LIM Steps 2-6 are a DOOOOOZY Only remove the LIM if you have the turbos off anyway or if it is absolutely necessary. I honestly didn't find it hard, just very time consuming, but at the time my turbos were off anyway. |
