Well... Got that done... pic is old, but all the wires are cut and re-attached and hidden... OEM style. I used a dampening bolt (Lack of proper term I'm sure...) 10mm on the bottom, rubber in the middle and 10mm on the top... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png to secure the aluminum bracket up off the framerail to allow the wires to pass underneath.. The box is a perfect snug fit.

very nice and clean set up All you do is unbolt the fusebox, unsecure the wires from under the bumber support and unwrap them. Then you need to cut the 3 wires (Forget the colors) that run to the passenger side. The rest you can just pull to the other side while attached to the fusebox. I shortened them so I wouldnt have to stuff them up in the bumper... It's really just a matter of cutting and resoldering the wires. I'll get more pics when I get the chance. All I did for the bracket is used a piece of aluminum from Home Depot and bent it with a vice and a hammer to have a 2" space in the middle to hole the box.. SIMPLE. Took like 10 minutes.. Then I polished it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png I'll get some pics when I get home... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif |
sounds easy enough..... originally iwas just gunna mount it under the bumper support and just forget about it for a good while. hehe

The wires that don't run over MIGHT be the ones to the fuggin air pump relay... (No use for me!) I'll check later... Lemme grab the camera and post the pics I promised earlier. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png J |
