I've been eyeing some REAL Recaro SRDs in all black.. found them on eBay for 500$/ea. Which is a smokin price as far as i know https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
anyways i was reading in a search that corbeau made some rails for race seats.. but do they work for any seat? My question is.. will/do the Recaro SRDs fit? Anyone have them in their car? I know the torinos are a tight fit.. but they are pretty much the same seat.. Will the rails work for the recaros and will it all fit.. my leather is gettin kinda old.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif |
the corbeau rails most likley will not fit. Just make adapters to the stock rails.

from what i understand, no one has been able to fit usdm SRD's in the fd. i know the jdm ones are actually a bit thinner, from what i understand. i dont think recaro makes brakets for rx7 for a reason, cause the srd's are too wide :(

i dont know which exact seat u are talking about but i had rails made for 200 for both
and the lever that lets you recline (if you have them) switch drive seat with passenger so the lever is on the inside not the ouside like stock seats also my sides hit the door when i closed them so i got washers from Home Depot (about 2) for the outside feet that hold the set down and it put a little tilt on the seat to just keep it from hitting the door also if your tall you sit higher and the seat hits the top when reclined forward ( but just barley) i'm 6'1, 185 and i fit ok |
i tried, it will not fit.way too big on our fd
