can someone tell me how to go about droping the rear subframe?
|
I dropped one once. I think it was six bolts. Plus the trailing arms. If you just hop under there and look you should be able to find all the mounting points. I think I was able to drop it out in 15-20 minutes or so. I don't remember it being a big deal.

yonner, its very simple.
remove wheels, pull off the calipers let them hang or tie them up some place. unbolt the shocks . locate and lossen the 6 subframe nuts with a jack under the diff for support. make sure all wires and hoses are loosend from the frame and diff housing. slide pp frame out of the way and slowly lower the diff with the frame conected. the entire rear suspention , frame and diff should all drop together. hope this helps |
