I have experience dropping engines and transmission into regular body shells, but I have never put a US engine into a JDM spec car. There is a JDM shell available in my area, and I would like to put my engine and tranny in it. Will the wiring harness work, or do I need a JDM harness? I know on certain cars like supras and soarers, the harness is reversed because of the RHD.
Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? |
The harness must be JDM. The JDM harness runs to our passenger side...which is your driver's side.
Also, if you plan on running stock turbo's, you must get a JDM downpipe. |
i think i have a JDM precat (dp) laying around.. it isn't a cat.. just a heavy pipe..
