With transmission, or without?
I hear it's kinda hard to get the motor and tranny back together if you leave the tranny under the car... Thanks! |
leave tranny in car... Unless you plan on replacing it too. inwhich case I recommend dropping the tranny first.

Leave the trans in the car.
It takes about 5 min to line up the input shaft and get a bolt in the trans. It's not hard. |
yeah leave it in the car, it's not hard at all. If you want to pull them both out at the same time you have to go through the bs of unbolting driveshaft and ppf, plus you have to jack the front up really high to clear the tranny

When you got to take the engine loose form the trann, dont forget to open thge release collar on the pressure plate or you'll be tuggin for hours.

Bring the car to a rotary shop and have them do it.
