alternator and water pump? does it come with belts?

JT-Imports 10-08-2003 06:19 PM

Just like the TRUST kit yes and it would also come with the belt.

mr_ouija4201 10-08-2003 09:21 PM

I'd be interested if I had the money... I'm building up a 1st gen beater so I have no funds for the FD...

JT-Imports 10-08-2003 10:42 PM

Yeah I hear you, there is a lot of that going around right now.

looks nice any hp gains?

ive been looking for a kit but you guys have so many

what do you recomend?

JT-Imports 10-13-2003 10:52 PM

I have never really looked into any pulley kit for HP gains until I lose my PS.

No HP gains on this, but just losing the AC, and AIRPUMP will free up horsepower and increase responce.

I have the TRUST kit, which is basically the same thing.

FD3S DRIFT 10-13-2003 11:00 PM

so i cant use my ac?

i need it for the ladies the one thing i will sacrafice for HP

JT-Imports 10-13-2003 11:06 PM

No you can use your AC with this kit.

Im just saying if you want to see HP gains or something from pulleys I would say DROP your AC and Airpump and maybe even your PS.

FD3S DRIFT 10-13-2003 11:16 PM

i want to drop my airpump but my girlfriend would kick my ass if i lost the ac. hey at least she doesnt have to ride in my beater car which lacks all of those things.

thanks man

charles

Airpump isnt for your Airconditioning. Its for emissions purposes.

FD3S DRIFT 10-14-2003 03:58 PM

yeah i was just saying that i want to get rid of the air pump since i live in florida and we dont have emissions, and that i would have to keep the ac for the ladies.

A/C and P/S is for pussies! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png I may be interested in the pullies though.

DomLee 10-14-2003 10:11 PM

You guys are going about this the wrong way.

Elimination of A/C = hotter temps. Hotter temps = less clothing. hahaha

r0gu3 10-15-2003 10:34 AM

Who needs A/C in TX?

GASOLINE 10-15-2003 04:18 PM

hey i was researching pulleys and i Steve Dinan says its bad. Granted that Dinan works on BMW piston engines i am still wondering what you guys think.

here is a link to the info

rockshox 10-15-2003 06:02 PM

well dinan is right that removing the harmonic damper is bad. however rotaries dont have a harmonic damper to begin with.

GASOLINE 10-16-2003 02:41 PM
