is the powerfc really worth it?also would i have to dyno tune it myself? :(

vosko 09-05-2002 10:52 PM

the powerFC is worth it. the base map is very good.... unless your highly modified you can run the base map with good results

it depends on how far you are going to go with the car.

the power fc will handle anything from a stock to very highly modded car, but the more hp you have the bigger hassle it becomes, its actually one of the best ems's out there but the support is not very good

the haltech can handle anything from mildly modded to anything you want. the e6k wont run the sequentials, so you have to start there. it is a pain to install, it requires rewiring the enitre engine (think of 3 back to back stereo installs). it is easy to tune, there are a lot of them out there on rotaries so the support is good.

the new aem is basically unproven, it looks like it would be very good, but its best to wait and see what problems people have.

the tec 3 is like the haltech, but it comes standard with a better ignition. it is a bit harder to install, but it might be able to make more power than any other, the ignition accuracy will let you run a bit more timiing.
