Hi,
I am planning on getting an apex-i power fc for my 1997 rx-7 type rb bathurst... I will have it tuned and then shipped....And i am getting it along with the commander.. I have been using an AVC-R and a V-AFC on my civic and have an idea of on-the-road tunning... But with the Rx i am very careful... Still running stock boost with the following mods Apex-i N1 catback Greddy upgraded smic Apex-i power Intakes Apex-i GT Spec radiator Mazdaspeed downpipe I have given these mods to the guy from whom i am buying the power fc and told him to have it tuned to 14psi and then ship it.... We have no dyno here Is it a good idea or bad... what should i look out for.... Also just curious what color is a 1993-1995 ecu harness... Yellow or white??? thanks Sultan |
Sorry i'm not really going to add anything constructive but my friend told me about this guy that turbo'd his MR-S (mr2 the new one) and he had a power Fc and no clue how to tune it, i think he was in the same situation as you.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png at least you're not alone?.. haha you should drop oodles worth of cash and make a shop with a dyno and corner the market!

Bathurst--- Since your mods arent that big of a deal, no offense. A PFC is a great addition, especially if you plan on modding more.
Your working with your stock computer? If so the tunning of a PFC to fit your car is NO BIG DEAL. Say if you had a T04R, injectors, IC, full straight exhaust and you will be racing THEN WITHOUT A DOUBT I wouldnt do it unless I had a dyno. |
Who is tuning it by mail? I've had a baaaaad experience with it.
