What about the input shaft? I've seen alot of guys breaking them. Do you harden them of anything? |

Everything cleaned really good, clearanced, brand new bearings, syncros,shifting forks.(third gear modification, almost bullet proof shifting into 3rd gear) everything to factory specs. Torque and end play. I love rebuilding these gear boxes. They just take about the hole day, 8 hours.

bah those trans pieces were completely fine, i think you blew a piston and had a misdiagnosis :smirk: (btw that was for the dick who thinks i know nothing about these cars just cause i dont own one...i dont know his name on this board but whatever)
oh and might as well get a new head gasket, and definitely a new camshaft. kevin. |
