After installing the pfc i noticed that when i start by car the idle reads really like like at 2-300 rpms. After blipping the throttle a few times the idle goes back up to 1k. Anyone else experiencing this iwth thier pfc. I also think it takes 1 more 2 more cranks to start the car

from my understanding all 3rd gen rx7's are equiped with an accelerated warmup system to quickly heat up the catalytic converter to operating temperature.



the revs will go up to 3k for like 5 seconds and drop down to 1200 til the car is warm, then when fully warm, idle should be 750-800rpm

almost all of the emissions have been removed..sorry 300-200 rpms not 3k, so the idle is just really low on start.

Did you go through the idle learning process? It needs to idle at 3 different settings for a total of 30 minutes...then some further driving before the PFC fully learns the idle. Also, AWS is not used by PFC anyways.

you might need to check if your manual idle control syncs up with your PFC. If they aren't some strange things will happen. You can fing the manual idle control screw right under the elbow that connects to the intercooler piping. there's a small hole that you can fit a flat head screwdriver into. give that a try maybe
