I know this is a tad corny, but I want to be a "little" different, and do a tad of reliability at the same time. I "aquired" a coolant reservoir and test mounted it in the engine bay, and was wondering if anyone can point out why this may or may not be a good idea, or spot to put it. Comments and criticism is welcome as always, as long as it's constructive. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
Also, is there a particular level at which it should be mounted? Like the AST, being at the top? |

i like it. i think it should be at the level you have it height wise. that seems like a good height for it to flow down instead of having it have to flow up if it was mounted lower. maybe moving it foward more close to the side of the fans for extra cooling unless it gets some airflow there.

the reserve tank works on pressure/vaccum via the radiator cap, so mounting height is really not an issue like with the AST. It looks good there, go for it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

oh and I spy some home depot hose coming off that tank with the breather behind the strut bar, https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

I decided to vent the Crankcase to a catchcan... No real reason, just avoiding a little smoke https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png I'll run braided lines... You know me. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |
that looks nice man https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png. Any idea on when the engine is going in?
