HI,

Noticing all the problems with those oil pedestal things some of you guys have bought i`m looking for an alternative.

Would this work for an Fd. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...bayphotohosting

I believe the problem with this one is that it raised the oil filter up too high. It would still work but it's harder to get the filter on and off. With that said, I wish I'd have gone this route looking back though. I think I could live with it...

just get the one from Mazdatrix or racingbeat for an FC and use steel braided hose instead of the factory hardpipe. They've been making it for a long long long long long time with no issues.

I used the greddy sandwich adapter. Worked fine. I didn't have any problems removing the oil filter either.

i use that adapter on my re motor in my fc or one just like it. i also have used the mazdatrix adapter . both do the job just fine but the mazdatrix/racingbeat one just looked to blocky for me.

I have the greddy oil filter block adapter. I used it to have the tapped holes for oil pressure and oil temp gauges. It's a little difficult to change the filter but not terrible. I took mine out because I am getting rid of my gauge. I have it for cheap if any of you want.
