Gonna do change the oil this time around on my own.

Anything special i gotta do? Or just standard oil change.

Also my dad works at a gas station with those lifts that looks like :

with each leg that moves around.

is that ok to use the 7? (I read something about lift kits, but i can't find the post agian for the reason).

Have redline oil + Bosch oil Filter.

I wouldn't relly ask about an oil change on another car...but on the FD i double check everything haha..

thanks

Your overthinking it. It's just like every other car. Just change the oil like you normally do.

Yah, if you do it yourself you'll be doing your car a favor. If you take it somewhere, the guys that do the work don't care if your car's an '88 yugo or an '06 ferrari. It's just a hole to pour some crappy oil into.

Do it yourself. Buy the right stuff. Take your time. Check to make sure it's full before you crank it up. You'll be fine.

If your referring to a two-post lift, I've got one in my shop. Just put the arms directly under the pinch welds, just behind the front and just ahead of the rear wheels. If you have the FSM or owner's manual, it shows the jacking points.

Do yourself and favor and replace your drainplug with one of these. It eliminates the use of any tools to change your oil. It becomes a 2 min job. http://www.fumotovalve.com/

I have been using it for at least three years and I recomend it to anyone.
