I took out my dash to paint it and since then my odometer does not light up. During the day or if I shine a flashlight in it I can see that the numbers are there and it works, but its completely dark at night and barely visible during the day.



I checked several times and everything is hooked up correct. Does any one know if there is a bulb behind the gauge for the odometer and if mazda sells it or if it can be purchased elsewhere?

If I recall correctly- there are several bulbs located right on the circuit board. Take the entire dash assembly out, turn the little, black, plastic retainer screws and remove the bulb. I'm not sure if discount auto has them- you may have to go to the dealer- good luck.
