Hey guys,

Its been winter around here and I have been neglecting my baby for awhile. But, I put it in the shop yesterday to have them finish my non-sequential.

All that is left is mounting the turbos on the manifold and running the vac lines and UIM, DP. .etc.

I am ordering parts tonight from RX7Store and was curious what you all though I should pick up.

Current Mods:

3" Stainless Downpipe

Racing Beat Cat Back Exhaust

I know I need the air pump elim kit because my smog pump bearings blew up on me the first day I bought it. And I also need to pick up the AST.

I custom fabbed up a couple block off plates with some steel and was curious if it was worth buying the $65 plates from the RX7 store for the non-sequential setup.

I also want to know with the mods I currently have if you think a aftermarket (electronic or manual) boost controller is needed.

After everything is said and done I will have the following:

3" Downpipe

Racing Beat Exhaust

Full Non-Sequential Setup

Block off Plates

Intake Hardpipes with the cute lil cone filters (stock box I got mad at. . heh)

I just dont want to go out. .get on it. . and blow the bitch up you know. It has a lot of miles on hit (68k) but I want it to last at least this summer before I purchase a new motor.

In some ways I could see I could use a Boost Controller and other ways I dont. . .

Also. . Aftermarket FPR???

Sorry for so many questions. . I just wanted some RX7 input rather then the shade tree input I get from some people in my town here. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

thanks for the info. . heh. . funnies thing happend. I got my pulleys and stuff and the car back yesterday. . .put the pulleys on and wanted to drive it around a lil bit after the non sequential conversion to make sure there were no fountains of coolant coming out of anywhere. .well

I got on it. . not hard. .just a lil boost. . let off. . it popped and then started to stall out . . then died. . started it back up after a min and drove it home. . NO boost at all on the way home but also felt like NO gas. my gas light was on and it was sitting for a long ass time.

I am praying to go I just ran out of gas. . otherwise, Im going to cry because I have to move to texas soon and a broken car means a broken bank. .haha

Why would you even try and boost a car on old gas much less drive it with it being that low. More than likely you'll need to change your fuel filter and actually send some money and put decent fuel in it if you expect it to run right at all. With old fuel it's very easy to cause a serious engine failure by just driving it. Gas much like milk goes bad over time, if you wouldn't drink bad milk why would you expect your car to drink bad gas. ? ? ? ? You bank's not going to be the only thing broke.
