I did the jerry rigged version of the non seq. conversion and I am getting a huge amount of lag, anyone have suggestions to reduce the lag?
|
Do the real thing.
What are your other mods? |
well you will get lag... cuz both your turbos are spoolin at the same time compared to one turbo spooling at any given time. my suggestion is to cruise around at a higher rpm so you got some exhaust ready to spool those babies up
|
You really need to have donwpipe, midpipe, catback and intake to reduce lag. I have full non-sequential and have full boost around 3k.
|
Full boost at around 3k?
Hrmm.. with the same mods and Full NonSeq... with block of plates.. I hit full boost at 3800rpms. Whats your secret, cuz thats the lowest full boost Ive heard of for Non Seq! ps. Block off plates and removing all flapper doors will give you minimal help on the spool up issue. Having Full Exhaust and and IC will really help. |
Does anyone have the entire procedure on how to do the (jerry rigged) version of non-sequencial. I just want to try it out.
Thanks Vic |
Please disregard last post, I found FD3Boost's post and pics.
Thanks |

Yes lag is kinda inevitable.
Its not so bad if you have straight through exhaust. |
