ive got an fd with quite a list of parts...but before going single turbo, i want to have some fun with the stock twins. does anyone know where i can get the diagram/instructions to do the true twin conversion? i think this would be fun before i go with a big single...anyone got any info on it? thanks in advance...

What do you mean "true conversion" If you are talking about non-sequential then I can help you out.
I would relly not worry about going single or even non sequential for a while though. If you just got the car you got alot of things to learn and do before you get to that stuff. |

NON-Sequential. The sky blue lines tie in at the solinoid. The pic doesn't show that.

This should get you most of the info that you need. Lightning in a word of thunder/turbos
This is also an informative site.Robinette's site |

Hey guys I'm a Fd freak, what can I say.
menacefd3s make sure you check those links out and bookmark them. They will come in pretty handy. I am still curious what you mean by true conversion. What exactly were you talking about? Does the car you have still have the stock vacum hoses? |
when i say true twin conversion, i mean making it a TRUE twin turbo system, non-sequential. the information was really helpful, thanks. i had every single one of the vaccuum hoses and all the lines replaced when i first got the car a few months ago. its in the shop right now getting a mitsubishi fuso FMIC mounted, along with tein ra suspension...and a bunch of other crap that i'll last when its out of the shop and ready for some nice hi-res pictures https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Wow, I remember those days! I tell ya what, Non-Sequential for what it's worth KICKS ASS! The **** was SO easy to do, and I never had any problems with boost. I ran without a boost controller and boosted .85 kilos consistently(with some boost creep in 4th gear it would go to 1.0 kilos).
Now that I'm single, it's EASIER to take the turbine's off, but was definitely costlier....But when the WASTEGATE cracks...HOLD THE **** ON!!!! |
