My friend's fd still jad some sort of bumper behind the front end. Mine just has the front end and then frame lol

There was no reason for the shop to remove the A/C dryer. Even if it needed charging, that reduced the value of the car way more than savings from buying a cheap radiator.
Being "off" one or two inches is ALOT. IMO, you should have tossed that ebay one for something that was specifically made for the car....lines up with the stock hoses, has a nipple on the bottom tank for the AST line, is efficient, has increased capacity, has attachment flanges for the OEM fan assembly... and isn't as likely to fail from poor contruction and materials. And you should find a shop that's familiar with FDs to install a radiator. It's not that hard...at least it shouldn't have been. |
Easier said then done. Not too many people up here in Nova Scotia work on FD especially JDMs and parts are next to none. I can still mount the A/C dryer, i'll just remove the plastic housing and extend the bracket for dryer. I saw it on another rx 7 forum buddy did it as he put extra large FMIC. Lesson learned.
