ok i bought a 93 rx-7 needs a new harness, i was wondering if the selinoids that are located under the top intake manifold, are part of the emmission system, and can be bypassed with the block off plates, or they are required for operations on the engine. any help would be great, also if anyone is parting out a 3rdgen then i will be happy to take some parts off your hands.
thanks |
you don't "need" them for the car to run. but unless you change to a single turbo or non-sequential system you do. I have all those solinoids if you are interested

You can eliminate them by going non sequential. But if you have the stock ECU, you will have to put resistors in the connectors. I say your best bet is to get a aftermarket ECU and go non sequential. Or pick up the needed parts used off this forum. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png |
