Hey. My Rx-7 feels extremely underpowered. My boost gauge says I am getting the regular psi ratings, but i hear a leak and cannot pinpoint it. I checked all the hoses and tubes, and everything seems fine. The car starts out really sluggish, like it's having problems getting the turbos spooled. I can get the turbos going, but it has about a 3-4 second delay before i get them anywhere. Also its a california car, so i wonder if their emmisions has anything to do with restriction. Anyways please provide any advice you can, it is much appreciated.

check your downpipie if its glowing red when you have the car on..... i suspect a clogged cat
|
check rats nest to, if you hear a leak its most likely in there. im not sure if a downpipe would make a leaking sound if the cats are clogged or not. go non-seq !

It is an auto. How low RPMs are you talking? yeah the car isnt going to pull at 1-3k rpms...

im talking about 3 seconds for any boost to kick in, thats nto right. ive driven other auto rx-7's and they are a lot faster than this guy. it honestly takes about 3-4 seconds before there is any boost, and you guys know it doesnt take that long to get the rpms above 3k. Anyways more suggestions are welcomed and i thank you for them

Make sure the actuator arms are connected, if it's missing the clips they will pop off.
