The window control switch on the driver side stopped working for the driver side window. I was trying to "encourage" the switch to work and I broke it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/blackeye.gif

Does anyone have an extra control piece? Not the whole thing, but just the top part that has the switch on it.

Am I making sense?

Mine broke a long time ago. The only way you're going to find that one switch is to go to a junkyard. Any early 90's Mazda with power windows will have the switch. Mazda only sells the whole unit(I think). In the meantime, you can just pull it apart, and use the switches on the circuitboard to roll up the windows.

I called Mazda and they want something like $175 for just the controll switch. :DOH

Call up all the local junkyards and ask them if they have any early 90's mazdas with power windows.

Call Mazdatrix. They have it.

Do most of the 93 to 95 Mazdas have the same window control switch? IE, MX6, Miata, etc.

Sounds like the best route.

yeah man it's happened to me too. I"m using a flat head to roll up and down my window. I'll buy the piece next month.

The whole unit is different, but the switches and mechanisms are the same, from what I've seen.
