went to kdr for cluth/flywheel combo. 1300 cc injectors. dave dynoed it. first run was 293.4 at 10 psi. the subsequent runs were lower....wtf.... the stupid thing wouldn't boost any further than 10.5ish... checked all the connections etc....all was in order.. dave said one of my turbo might be toast. all five runs were within twenty minutes.... the fans were blowing hot air into the intercooler...could this have something to do with it. mods: apex intakes, greddy smic, dp/mp/cb/1300cc injectors/comso pump/pfc /non-seq. i guess it's time to look for a single.... how about garett gt35/40 turbo. any advice or suggestion is greatly appreciated.... oh yeah of course on the way home the high setting on my profec b it boosted like 15 or more on two occations. couldn't do it too much b/c of snow/ice balding tires. thanks kevin.

I can probably make a good recommendation for a turbo if you have a realistic idea about your goals. Some questions will help me offer you advice about some options...

1) What is your target rear wheel HP? Be realistic... everyone wants a million HP, but how many do you really think you will use?

2) Is that on pump gas or race fuel like you might use at a drag strip?

3) What type of driving will you be optimizing for? Street? Drag? Autocross? Road Course?

293 ain't bad at 10 psi. but my question is how come i don't get more when i crank the boost. it just won't boost. i want 10's too..... will be happy with 450 hp. or more. i am leaning towards the garretts gt35/40.
