the problem is that the 850's are shorter than the 550's so they spray INSIDE the fuel rail, so the spray pattern gets all weird. if you shorten the fuel rail it should work fine though

Instead of going through all of this hassle for a set of high impedance 10 year old injectors, I bought a set of 83lb (871cc) top feed injectors for ~75 each and a rail from KGParts.
They provide more fuel than the stock injectors and my car idled better with them than any of the 3 other FDs I have played around with that have stock 850 primaries. I have been told by two sources that low impedance injectors are more consistent at lower duty cycle levels than high impedance injectors. That is consistent with my experience. |
