I have been having boost problems since I bought my 94. And now the car seems to be running non-sequential...I dont know where to start in diagnosing this problem. None of my vacuum lines have popped off...but there might be some cracked ones that I cant reach or see in a limited amount of time since it is my daily driver. Any suggestion?

Thanks,

Sean

Do you have a boost guage? what kind of problems were you caving before? How much boost do you get and when does it come on?

I do have a boost guage...Right now it is kind of random...depending on how I drive the car...for example I was on my way home from work and I was shifting fast and not really getting any boost and then I kind of eased into the gears and I would get maybe 5 or 6 psi. I can get 11 psi in 4th gear but 1st, 2nd, and 3rd im getting 5, 6~7, 8 respectivley. Its weird. I had a boost leak and I have replaced some hoses...before this problem my car was running almost perfect... I would get 5 pounds from the 1st turbo and the full 11 from the 2nd. But I dont notice the transition anymore...which could be bad.

I'm not the best person for diagnosing the somewhat oveer-engineered vac system and your particular problem dosent make much sense to me...anywhere from 5-11 bounds of boost. If you are getting numbers that high then both turbos are working. First off I'd check all couplings for tears (especially the one coming off the y-pipe) and make sure they are tight. Also a good visual inspection to see if any hoses are cracked / blown off. helpful info for you

thats about all I have for ya right now.
