OK, well it seems once you fix one thing, another thing breaks.. least that is how it goes with my car..

currently i have these problems to figure out/fix.

1. Oil leak from driver side, - probably one of the oil cooler lines that is loose or a worn washer or some ****

2. Coolant Leak on turbos - metal crush washers are worn and its lightly dripping on the turbos.. joy.

3. No power past 4k rpms - pretty sure my plugs are shot.. as it is dumping fuel, but seems not to be sparking and i get a lovely flame afterwards.... just loading up on fuel and on the decel it flames.

4. High idle... my pfc doesn't like to keep my idle down in the 800s, loves to sit in the 1500s, and if i set the pfc under 1500, it gets lumpy, so i'm sure its just some idle screw finicking i need to do.

5. Tuning the car so i can finally drive it like i stole it - dyno and wideband https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

it's not just your car, i've had some of the same exact problems as you, except i wish i saw flames! the idle will smooth out, i have my pfc set around 800 and it does fine, just keep driving it and all will be good. as for your leaks, washers are not that expensive, and replacing them should be somewhat simple..

lol the idle has been like that for 6 months. just never got around to ******* with it.

Idle and leaks aye! I wish i had that problem. As for the no power after 4k, prolly a boost leak. Not a hard to fix.

eh no boost leak.. methinks my plugs are fouled really bad from all the rich running. Gonna try another map here pretty soon on the PFC.

Check the throttle cable... Might be getting sticky in it's age... Mine sits high at idle too... But if I put my toe under the gas pedal and pull up... It drops to 900.

mine is something to do with the idle set screw and my PFC.. i'm positive on that note.

also, does anyone know the part # or belt size or whatever for the alternator belt if you are using underdrive pulleys? the search is down.
