when i used to launch like that something would always break my best 60 FT was 1.70

That was nice. Were you running on slicks? It also didn't seem like you were trying to boost build. How do you launch? What was the ET anyhow?

sweet7 09-30-2005 09:03 AM

Kickass as always Mike, can't wait to get home and see it.

MichaelB145 10-01-2005 03:49 AM

I've had my fair share of braking ****. Ended up doing a Kaaz rear end and Chromoly axels. Yes I was running slicks. It was my first day at the track and I was having trouble with the fuel pressure dropping. I ran a 12.003 that run. We should have the fuel problem fixed in a couple of weeks.

Very nice launch.

KoiHoshi 10-08-2005 03:45 PM

NICE launch! Sounded sick! Sounded crazy hitting that rev limiter "BAH BAH BAH BAH WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" beautiful...

FD, it's mmm mm good...

Girlpowerrx8 10-09-2005 04:52 AM

I couldn't see anything. Damm bloody computer.

Can anyone help me.

l8t apex 10-09-2005 08:11 AM

So you guys just bang on the limiter? Do any one know how much boost you build and where it is when you dump?

Ive been reving up to the dump then I'm full throttle at release.

rfreeman27 10-09-2005 06:58 PM

It was a two step, not like the regular rev limiter...

you set it where you want to launch eg 5500rpm instead of the normal rev limit. you just floor it and it will stay there instead of 7500rpm. i've never had or used one but it would make launching a lot less tricky!

MichaelB145 10-11-2005 08:27 AM

plus it allows you to build boost off the line! But be ready to break something if you don't have a Kaaz rear end and Chromoly axels.

jspecracer7 10-12-2005 05:56 AM

Also known as anti-lag. Retards timing so lots of fuel builds up and increases boost.

What ECU are you running MikeB?

MichaelB145 10-12-2005 11:52 AM

Using Power FC with the datalogit. The datalogit allows for the 2 step. Can't wait for the new program that is being developed to convert over to windows based!

here how it works....
