I see you have an R1, interested in selling your strut ?? heheh

Unfortuantely, the reason I know the trouble with looking for a stock bar is that the bar was missing when I bought the car. I actually thought at the time it was just a base, until someone clued me in that without cruise control, it was the R1. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Of course, I might just have to take a look at that e-bay bar.....Hmmm....

just as I was about to contact them (0 reputation on ebay, so couldn't just hit the buy it now) noticed you'd already bought it.

How bad are you looking for one? I have a spare that I might sell if price is right.

Not really looking that seriously at this point. honestly, the FD hasn't moved in over a year now, I've got a lot more pressing issues than a STB. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Yes it is true, I did buy it and it should arrive tomorrow heh. Anyways, I was wondering what tools/parts I will need to put it on? Any suggestions?

OK so you are saying all I do is take off the nuts from either side and attach the bar? I thought you had to do something with the struts, compress them or something?

nope, you just remove 4 or 6 of the top nuts, put strut bar on and retighten.
