I have a few so hold on, I have oil leaking out of my spark plug holes, is that normal on a rotary. I also have a couple drops of coolant coming out of the same place, I know thats not good, how long can I run this engine till something bad happens. I still have good vaccuum, around 16-18 inches. I also wanted to know how hard it is to take out the turbos and replace them, I have experience with cars, I have rebuilt a 429 big block and a little honda engine 1.6. And finally does anyone have a set of turbos that work that they want to get rid of for less then about 700$ any help with do thanks alot

Coolant coming out of the spark plug holes = BAD. Stop driving the car. Oil is not good either...
I just did the turbos, so I can help you remove them... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |
Turbo's dont cost that much. I have a receipt for my turbos being rebuilt for $500. And Jason just sold some 99specs for $800 so I don't think it would be too hard for you to meet your budget. And you have coolant coming from your spark plug holes https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

Basically, if you're getting coolant/oil coming out of your spark plugs holes, then you've got a bad water seal and oil ring....basically your car needs a rebuild.
I've built my own engine and it's not as bad as I thought it would be, just lots of attention to detail. |
