The setup has been running great on a 10 psi spring, my original goal was 20-22 psi on 101 and hoping to put down around 450+. I just started to tune up the boost to around 15-17psi doing 3rd gear pulls and right when i hit 15psi it started breaking up {afrs around 11.0 and advance around 15 deg when it breaks up} i was told the stock map sensor only reads to 17 psi and the stock ignition isint enough past 15 psi i was just courious if these are the only problems im going to have while trying to get 20+psi, or is there any thing else you guys can think of that i will need?

swap to a 3bar, its not too expensive and is necessary for higher boost (i believe stock is useless over 15psi, maybe 18)

my stock ignition was useless at 13psi, massive breakup. So i replaced all coils, the ignition harness, wires, and added an hks twinpower. no more problems.

the short ignition harness, once it gets brittle, will drive you nuts, its cheap enough and should be replaced if its still original.

the twinpower is basically a necessity for anything over 14psi altho some have done without it.

I have a spare 3 bar sensor im going to use.

do you have the pinout for the fd pigtail and the gm sensor?

the harness is ok now that i put the coils where the ac used to be!

stock coils or aftermarket? and why, the twin power id already planned on using put i hadent planned on replacing the coils

i can find the wire guide for you, have it saved somewhere on here.

i just bought new coils since i work at mazda. I was only saying replace them if with the amp and with a good harness you still have breakup, with your coils relocated you might be ok tho (the heat zaps them) i think i have a set of low mileage coils (10k) around here if you need some cheap.

my coils have massive spark, with all the mung inbetween the wire and coil its intense. super high resistense= like 100 kv spark https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif guess i should probly replace the coils , i was going to wait till they failed but ohhhh well, how much u want for them. i'll have to take a pic it will remind you of those zero maintenence vehicles you get every know and again.
