Ok here's what's going on. I just converted full non-seq. Removed ISC, AWS, EGR, ACV, Double Throttle. 1/2 watt 330ohm resistors placed on all female connectors and 2 male connectors from the acv. I start the car and the cel comes on. I pull a code 13 = map/boost pressure sensor and a code 54 = airpump relay. I had replaced the sensor and the ecu with the ones off of my brother's 93fd, but the codes still exists. I follow the service manual as it tells me to check voltage. I get .11volts from the br/w wire on the sensor and 5volts from the br/w wire on the ecu. Both ends are supposed to have 5volts. Does this mean there is a blown fuse? (checked all fuses but non blown) Some sort of short or open circuit somewhere due to the resistors? Anything that will explain why the voltage is off from what it's supposed to be? I've checked everything and I'm low on cash to buy replacements from mazda. I've searched this forum and the other forum and nothing gives me answers.

paragraphs pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

first off, i mean you removed a ton of stuff and did a lot of your own custom work. Start by going over every single thing you did and seeing if all the resistors and wiring is correct. Thats where your problem most likely lies, not with the cars internal, but with something you did in the conversion.

Just check over everything step by step as shitty as that may seem, it will most likely turn up the problem.

I have already went over everything. I even put all the electrical connectors back that I had removed and the problem still persists. So the problem isn't with the resistors. Thanks though.

honeslty man, if i worked fine before you changed stuff, then it has to be with something you changed , or its not effecting something that is making it have this problem.

how does the car drive ?

Raskal 04-22-2005 10:30 PM

it drives but in limp mode (cannot boost past 0psi) due to the pressure sensor check engine light code
