I purchased a 94 R2 about two months ago and am looking for a good repair facility in the San Francisco area. I have a Kakimoto Racing exhaust system being shipped in from Japan. As soon as this arrives, I will be looking to install a new intake (probably HKS), and the exhaust system as well as the body work on the car. I intend on putting the Apexi front bumper, rear end and side skirts.

The rest of the improvements can be done once the engine gives out. I purchased a 36,000 mile warranty and the car has about 90K on it now. Once the engine goes, I want to do a number of reliability mods and some performance mods in conjunction with the engine rebuild. Basically I want the car to perform good as a daily driver, but I also want to get a good deal more power out of the rotary engine. I figure with the right mods, I should be able to get a 40% increase in power and still have a realible vehicle. Any other parts needed will be at the recommendation of the garage doing the work on the rebuild when the time comes so I want to find someone really good with the rotary engine. Any recommendations on a good shop in the San Francisco area that can handle all of this? I would prefer to deal with one shop for both the body modifications and performance modifications, or perhaps a good performance shop who can outsource the body work.

Thanks in advance,

John
