ok, i was changing the plugs and realized that i have two leading plug wires, one has a white stripe around it. yes i know i can take off the elbow and maybe UIM to see the coils to see which one is the right one. but figured someone here would know instantly and save me the time.

Thanks

Trailing are on top (T), leading are "lower"-bottom (L)

^edit...Sorry, I re-read your question and realized you need to know which are #1 and #2. I don't recall any stripes on mine. IIRC, just solid blue. I'm thinking #1 leading should be the longest one if that helps.

leadings don't matter, it's a dual post coil so they both fire together.

I was wondering if they fired together since they come off the same post.

Question though, why would the leads fire together if the trailing does not? shouldn't the trailing be linked to the leading as far as timing?

They are linked, but because they follow in timing and are higher up the rotor housing they would fire on the wrong rotor face on the "wasted" spark. This is not fun when it happens.

ok, well since the longer wire seemed to fit fit to the front rotor and they are theoretically the same ill just leave them and see if i notice any difference.
