I havent been on this forum for a while but I hope somebody can give some advice on a Knightsports 4beat racing ecu ? Does anyone have any experience with them? Im told it's mapped for an aftermarket exhaust and intakes.. My current spec is 1994 fd touring x (auto trans), Ive upgraded the fuel pump to walbro 255, a large Greddy smic, tanabe cat back exhaust (cat still in place), HKS BOV. would the knightsports ECU be ok to run on my car? or should I just keep the standard ECU for now? I will eventually upgrade to a PFC when I can afford it.

Any help would be appriciated, thanks!

the ecus currently in the 2010 catalog are the 16 bit ecu ,, you have the 8 bit ecu,,, and for this knightsports sell a patch loom to allow the 16 bit ecu onto the older 8 bit loom

The one I have purchased is off a fella who had a rx7 but broke it up for parts, all the information he had was that it came off a Auto like mine and was mapped for exhausts and intakes, it appears to have some sort of loom already attached which will allow me to attach the current loom from my car ( i think this is what you're describing) do you have any feedback on them? are they safe? I have no idea of what increase in boost it would have? thanks for the help
