to jimmy the lock i dont know ive only done it on my truck never attempted on the rx. follow the direction of the glass head down and right undil u hit the little rod going towards the actual locking mechanismm on the door and go jiggle crazy try whatever works.

when you pull the door panel off i bet the lock smith just broke the plasic pice that holds the rod on the lock mech.

Aiight Team...here's the skinny: I believe what tampaFD said is true, however...pulling the panel off will be the hard part, why...because the door is shut and won't unlock https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif inside or out FAWK!!!!



I need advice as to how to open the door, OR pull the panel off with the door shut. I believe the latter is impossible, because of the screws on the bottom of the panel.



Now considering the worst https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/ohmy.png how much does a used black passenger panel go for??? I would definitely hate to just hack that bad boy off, but really can't see how I'm going to open the door https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/violin.gif

Lay in the drivers side and kick the door open. At least that way you might not have to replace the door panel. Cutting it is a definite replacement job..
