I just finished installing my boost controller and went to start up the car but all it does is crank, but wont start up. I checked all the conections and are all acounted for. The one thing I didn't do was cap off the hoses from the stock boost controller. But that shouldn't be the reason right. Let me know what you guys think? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif

cap them just for the hell of it ...it cant hurt....and it might be something dumb like that
i would cap everything that was connected to something
possible blown fuse as well
other than the wastegate acutator, tube for boost control solenoid, and taking out the intake.... waht other things did you tinker with?
I hooked up my tach, took the manifold on top of the engine off to get to the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose, but made sure that all connection were put back on in the right place, and thats it.
where did you hook the tach up to?
Did you disconnect your battery while doing this? As stupid as it sounds I reran wires to my controller without disconnecting the battery and somehow blew a fuse. Car would crank but not start. Are all of your electronics working properly?

Most likely culpret is a blown fuse. Vac leak in the turbo system wont keep the car from running.
Check the main fuse in the thin fuse panel under the hood. |
i just installed my Profec B spec II today and i am wondering why the hell did you remove your intake??? all you needed to do was to find a hole on the intake and put the vacuum hose over it to get a good intake reading then hook up a vacuum line from the intercooler piping to the internal wastegate then to the boost controller with the 3 way splitter suplied...i dont understand how you could have your car not start....also when you wired it to the ignition did you wire it to the black and yellow wire and did you ground it properly on a sanded spot or chasis mounted screw:??? well all of these could be your problem....i think its because you removed you intake and now you forgot to connect a stupid vacuum line ....well whatever it is good luck
