when i got my car there was/is some dirt or something making the tan sides dark, is there a product that will take that stuff off and clean other parts like it ( not dash or seats )?

murphy's oil will do the job, and is not harmful. simple green, or any other very mild non chlorinated cleaner will do fine as well..

do what he said, take some simple green and put it in a bucket with some hot water, dont dilute it too much, maybe 50-50, get a scrub brush and put the brush in the solution then scrub the area you want to clean, you will probably have to clean the whole area at this point, you can also use a sponge to get the area wet first, one of those non-stick cookware scubbing sponges work GREAT by the way ( Dobie sponge ) as well as to clean the plastic ( and even to clean the bugs off the front end )

Take a wet-dry shop vac and suck up all the dirty water, you can also put some fresh water on the parts you cleaned and suck that up as well, use a towel for to clean the plastic and to wipe your hands
