are the seats the same for the primary injectors and the secondaries? those small rubber things..thats what i'm talking about. thanks

tampaFD 12-18-2003 06:40 PM

the primary air bleed sockets are different than the secondary. primaries also have a gasket that seals the primary block to the engine secondaries dont

jakew131 12-18-2003 07:48 PM

those little rubber o-rings that the injectors sit on? thats what i'm talking about i'm just making sure we are on the same page.

turbovr6 12-18-2003 08:01 PM

those little rubber orings are wrapped around a piece of plastic. As mentioned above "air bleed sockets"

You are talking about stock setup right?

helihansen 12-18-2003 09:28 PM

Yes they are the same. I just did mine last year

jakew131 12-18-2003 10:24 PM

yah stock set-up, sorta. i have 1600 secondaries and i took the plastic peices out so they will seat, now i lost one of the primary rubber o-rings and i was wondering if i could use the rubber o-ring from the secondary. sorry if i'm not making sense.

turbovr6 12-19-2003 03:54 PM

oh the stock secondary o-ring on the airbleed, for the stock primary airbleed oring?? Yes they are the same

damn, when i saw the title i thought it said 'ejector seats'

Are you talking about the rubber rings? Mazda calls them injector insulators and yes, the primary and seccondary are different in both size and part number.
