i was doing my ground wire kit when i noticed there was a lot of oil buildup around the lower duct of the intercooler(stock). anyway i took off the i/c and there is a lot of oil resadue inside (this is all from when i overfilled my oil) anyway is there a good safe way to clean out the intercooler?
also ive been looking for a new intercooler, if anyone has one for sale pm me. thanks, mike |
let it drain out ? that is just lubricating for the apex seals https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

you can spray some mild soap/degreaser in there and let it sit, and then shake it up a little, and then drain it out......rinse it, and make sure that it is completely dry before you put it back in.....wouldnt want some water getting in there now would you????

very true, i wiped it down rinsed it off and dried it best i could. everything is back together now including the hyper whatever ground wire kit. i dont notice much of a difference she was pulling hard but hard to tell if it was more than before. i thought it was but i dont know if it was in my head. anyway next job is gonna be greddy pully kit.... i have no idea where to start with the main puly im thinking about just having someone else do it for me
