turbo 2 coils are suppose to be alot better then the fd coils and i would go either jacobs ignition system or the hks twin power.

Sorry, can't help....I'm at about 300 whp with stock ignition.

i can't really help either. currently have jacobs ignition amp and TII coils but it wasn't wired right so my trailings aren't firing. as soon as i can save up enough cash i want to run dual msd amps with 4 coils. that would be more than enough to handle your 500 too i believe

A new FD leading & a Twin Power can support 500whp.

New coils can be had from Ray at Malloy Mazda.

your thinking too far into ignition systems. a stock fd set up is just fine for 500hp. the key is to run non resistor spark plugs i have personally made 535hp on my fd with 960cc's of straight water.

I usually run greddy 10s, hks twinpower, oem wires, and t2 L coils for over 500rwhp... There are better ways, but this is the cheapest..

What kind of plugs are you running? I still use the ngk platinums

I run the stock 13B-REW set up with HKS DLI and new NGK plug leads, water injected 20+psi boost, more power than your gearbox or rear tires can handle ! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif

I have trialed all types of ignition including my own coil on plug CDI set up, the stock ign when in good order and small upgrades as listed above is fine.

Greddy 10 or colder plugs is what I have always recommended and many around the world have copied/followed suit after I started using them wholesale 5 years ago.
