Hey I have notice everytime I start up my car I notice smoke coming out from behind the air pump from the bottom y-pipe but I don't see any oil leaking anyway? Also this only happen when I first start up the car after it's warm up the smoke goes away. Anyway it smell like oil is burning from something I have try to see where it's coming from but from what I have see there is no oil residue on any part of the efini y-pipe or from the turbo oil lines? Has anyone exprience this problem before? Khris https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/ohmy.png

up blowing the oil seals on the turbos. |
Are you using more oil than usual between changes?

I went through the same thing and it eventually got worst. I ended

Sounds like oil leaking onto your exhaust manifold or turbo exhaust housings.
Have a good look for any oil leaks in the turbo oil supply line. Also possibly a crack somewhere or leak in a gasket and the smoke is combustion gas leaking out when cold. When warm, crack/gap seals up. Is there any extra noise coming from that area when cold? |
Well I don't hear any extra loud noise in that area, and it look like I have a winter project on mine hand to check the gasket's? Also I really don't see the gasket gone bad cause I did removed the turbos about 1.5 year ago and replace all new gaskets {metal type} while I had the turbos removed. Also this only started this summer exactly about 7 weeks ago I notice this problem. I know my turbos are good cause I am boosting 12-10-12 of boost whenever get on it, Is there any other way to tell if the turbos are dead {primary offcourse} Khris

If you haven't noiticed a drop-off in performance then your turbos are fine.
Look for a small oil/fluid or gas leak. |
Well with further more inspection I found the turbo actuator { site right next to the engine oil pan} I found the hose has oil on it and it goes on the actuator nipple maybe that's leaking somewhere, also I have not notice any drop on turbo performance they both spool fast and make 12-10-12 perfect.
