So I'm slowly digging my way down to my fuel injectors. I've taken off the intake manifold. Of course every vacuum line I touch is brittle and snaps. So I'm going to replace them all. Of course three of the plastic nipples on the long now of solenoids have broken off... do these solenoids cost a fortune? Please tell me they don't.

It still seems as if my injectors are hopelessly buried. Do I have to take of the EGR stuff too? Any advice?

Thanks,

John Magnuson

The solenoids are pretty cheap. There are some up for sale on the dark forum.

The solenoids, when purchased new, from mazda, are outrageously priced. Luckily, there are several nonsequential and single folks selling them for cheap. If you ditch all the emissions stuff, you can use the solenoids from those for the others u broke.
