Hey what kind of boost numbers could i potentially run with no upgraded fuel system assuming regular 91 or so octane pump gas. Just looking for some ballpark figures that would not potentially harm the engine. (And please dont tell me any boost harms the engine as I know some of you are probably thinking right now.)

12lbs- OK
13lbs- Borderline 14lbs- better make sure you don't get bad gas |
I've seen 14lbs ran safetly. But I concur, 12 is pry as much as you wanna bet on.

i'd stick to 10. at that point you'll need an FCD anyways.

I was running 14 on about 92% duty which isn't advisable. This was on stock fuel system. Some sort upgrade to system is required next, just not sure where to start exactly.

I stick around 10 to 12 just driving around the streat on 91 .

I ran 12 for about a year with no ill effects and no fuel upgrades....Bu then again, if it were a new motor and I didn't want to blow it up just yet, Like the one I have now...I'd run 10.
10 is definetly the safest, but performance wise run 12. You shouldn't have any problems, you still shouldn't have any with 14. |
