Ok... So on the other forum... It was stated that the OMP vaccum lines need to be hooked to the air intake elbow?

The oil metering jets need vacuum all the time that the motor is running. the only place to tap that ,is the air intake elbows .Not the lim sorry to say some one is wrong but you can fry your motor if you hook to the lim. The uim is under vacuum untill you boost then boost pressure will shut the jets down =fry the motor in time , not quickly but no oil is no oil.The idler pulley idea is good. Garfinkle makes an idler for that use plus he has underdrive pullies .

Can someone PLEASE show me how this damn thing works? Do the vaccum lines ONLY operate the OMP at idle? Cause it seems at boost (Positive Manifold Pressure) the air would be pushed thru the lines... ? Is there even vaccum in the intake elbow?

HELP!!!!!!

He's talking about the little black plastic elbow at the turbo intake. Somewhere on the other forum someone has written out a good explanation of how they work, but I can't remember the whole thing.

I took mine out, because they got in the way of my fuel lines.

Well I should be installing my single here shortly...where should I hook up my OMP vacumn lines? I heard something about using a check valve but I have never heard of exactly where to hook it up. I still run my OMP unlike all the Haltech guys since I use a PFC and I think premix is a PITA to "have" to use. Once in a while is fine for premix, but w/o the OMP, you have to use premix at every fill up.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Scott

eh took them out? someone isn't going to have lubed apex seals unless you are running a premix. They need VACUUM only, boost will **** them up. They need vacuum off of the intake piping before the turbo.

complete and utter bullshit. I have ran my oil injectors from the LIM. My last engine had the same thing done to it, and it lasted over a year like that. I have seen what happens when the oil injectors don't work...let's just say that the apex seals fused themselves to the rotor. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png

I have a problem with mine. Thinking about removing it completely and putting on a block off plate. I've been premixing for months now. It's not that bad.
