Help FD3S electrical issues

Hello all,

I wonder if any one can shed some light. None of my electrics in the cabin seem to work.

When I put the the key in and turn it to position 2 (ready to start) I dont get any lights come up on the dash at all. I would of expected somting to come up (Battery light ect, abs light ect)

Ive searched through the posts and followed the obvious pointers. These being replacing the dimmer switch. This now seems to work, the gauge illumination goes up and down.

Ive seem people mention the TNS relay, but I have side lights and reverse lights so I assume this is ok.

Does anyone have any advise, Im starting to think im in over my head with the Rex!

It's not an RX7 specific problem you have there. I've been out of the game for quite some time so I don;t have this **** committed to memory anymore. You need to get yourself an copy of the wiring diagram. I just bought a new one. I will try to get it scanned and posted up at the top now that I am back on the board. (just got me a new rx7)

You will have to get out your DVOM and start checking around. I'm not sure if there is a fusible link for the cabin lights prior to the fuse panel or not. Again you'll just have to track it down with a DVOM and some diagrams. I run a business so give me a few days but I will try to get the diagram pdf up soon.

Managed to sort most of the issues. Just a case of replacing failed components. Thanks for all your help
