I just wanted to know if anyone had done or tried to do a heated seat modification. Gets pretty chilly here in Richmond, Vagina... I mean Virginia, would be nice to have heated seats.

Let me know if you have done it an what was the process and parts used.

Thanks in advance.

You can get some heaters here. They'll have to be trimed down I think, but they work great, I tried them out already on my uncle's Accord.

Heated seats definitely rock on the east coast, my mom had them in the pt cruiser before i totalled it...oh **** it was nice to sit in a leather seat at 7am in winter and not be frozen to the chair https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Only thing with heated seats is you need to be really careful picking out/wiring a kit. I have seen them get super hot and catch on fire, or melt the clothing that you are wearing, and burn you. And this was not a cheap $99 j.c.whitney retrofit kit that this happened to. I have seen this about 5 or 6 different times.

I wouldn't put them on my car

93 R!, do you recall who manufactured the wiring units that had trouble?

Thanks to everyone for the input.

Yeah it was factory Mercedes Benz seat heaters. I work at a dealership and have seen it personally. I believe there are a few law suites right now https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/ohmy.png
