Ok so I got my FD friday as some of you know. I drove it around that night and it runs really well aside from the fact that it runs too lean at times and then at other times too rich, therefore I haven't gotten on it yet really. The car already has Pettit Racing TKT intake on it, a downpipe of some sort not sure of the type couldn't see a marking but I think it's a no name M2 replica, High-flow Cat, New exhaust. As for the reliability mods: Aluminum AST, New vaccuum lines just 10k ago, cooling system was replaced just 10k ago, I had the compression checked on Saturday and it was ok, and all the recalls have been done on it. Other than that it has the Pettit Boost Gauge, and an ACT street/strip clutch with lightened flywheel. So here's what I want to know:

My thoughts are that I need to get a new ECU and Turbo Timer, I was planning on getting the Apexi PFC so I can continue to mod and tune as I go. So first question is what Turbo Timer to get? Second while I'm at it should I go ahead and upgrade my injectors and fuel pump, or should I hold off until I do some other mods. Since I'm going to get the ECU now anyway should I also go ahead and get a midpipe? Any of your input would be appreciated. I'm planning on getting a new IC soon as well but I may hold off on that for a bit as well. Right now my concern is getting the fuel system right and keeping the turbos safe. Thanks in advance

i'd buy a walbro pump and put in the PFC and run low boost like 10psi and it should be very reliable

Thanks Vosko....

The car is black on black, R1 model. So happy with it. It needs new paint but other than that it looks to be in great condition. I want to get a different exhaust but it's not my main concern right now. I don't even know which exhaust it is I haven't seen it before...... I'd post some pics but I don't know how to attach them. anyway Thanks again

I would do the walbro like vosko says and I would hold off on the midpipe.

Do the PFC and greddy turbo timer.

I would upgrade the Intercooler before you do that midpipe.

email me the pics and I'll host them for you. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

did you guys make your own adaptor for the wlabro pump. they do nto fit in like the cosmo, which too like 10 minutes to install, and flows for >~450-500hp....

My car had the pettit intake. Nice little set up. Made it look stock. With that in mind it also had a Greddy turbo timer. It was balc and mounted next to the hood release lever. Not a good place though I kicked it almost every time when I got out. But it is only $99 bucks and is easy to install

ok thanks guys... yeah I got pretty good prices on the PFC now I'm just figuring out which IC to get I'm basically looking at either the Greddy 3 row or the M2 medium. so it's kind of a toss up. Any preferences from you guys?

FD3Boost I'll email you those pics in a couple of minutes. I'll zip em so they are a bit smaller.

I'm thinking about the M2 medium myself..
